Toxic People are present in every person’s life in one way or another, and we all despise those people who leave no stones unturned in hurting us.

Now there is no doubt that you have to remove toxic people asap from your life if you want to live it peacefully, but in doing so you must remember not to regret bumping into them throughout your life. Because if they weren’t there then you would be pushing the people that actually care about about you!

Now this is a complex topic of discussion which is best explained with the help of a story:

Once there was a family living on a top of hills in a forest near a town, The family consisted of a new born girl named Kaley, and her parents.

Kaley’s father was a woodcutter who used to cut wood and then march to town to sell it while her mother used to farm lands nearby to grow some vegetables.

When Kaley was only two years old, her mother died after getting bitten by a vicious snake in the fields.

After this, Kaley was brought up by only her father who continued to work as a woodcutter after that time. Every other day he used to cut wood with Kaley’s little help.
One day her father cut the wood, and big logs were carried out to town to be sold while the small logs were used to burn inside the house to cook food.
Kaley asked her dad: “Why don’t you sell the small log instead of big one as it would be easy to carry for such a long distance?”
Her Father replied: “My child, the reason for that is because big log woods sell for much higher price rather than small logs”.

Saying this he grabbed the log to be sold and as per his routine hugged Kaley while advising her: “My dear daughter, stay inside in the warm place, I’ll arrive till morning, take care of yourself and if I don’t return by tomorrow morning, as I have told you before to look inside the trunk in my room”.

He embarked on the journey with Kaley going to bed after locking the house.
She woke up late in Morning, searched for her father but she could not find her in the woods or forest.
Thus, as advised by her father, she went to that trunk and opened it. In which she discovered a letter followed.

The letter read: “My dear daughter, if you are reading this letter then this means something bad has happened to me and I won’t be making home this time for which I’m sorry. I have been saving since your mother died to fulfill her dream of settling you in town.
For that I have collected you some precious stones that will be more than enough to make you settle in town and some more.
These stones are located underneath my bed, take them to town, sell them and then settle there, but be careful the way is described below the letter but it’s full of wild animals at night and some robbers too. So make sure you hurry yourself up in the broad daylight.
I am so sorry for this, but I know you are strong enough to do this alone
~Your beloved Father

Seeing this, Kaley walked in tears not knowing what to do, but she knew she could not survive in the forest forever, thus she goes to look under the bed and sees three stones of each different sizes, one very large, one medium sized to fit in palm of hand, and the other one very small to be fitted in her small pocket.

These stones are unknown the Kaley as she was upraised in woods with no knowledge of stones but as her father told her the case that bigger woods are better, she assumed that the biggest stone was most valuable.

So she ties it with a rope, holds the middle sized stone in her palm, and puts tiny one in her pocket and embarks on a journey to town.
In her way, she is very slow due to this giant rock but she considers it invaluable, and keeps holding to it.
Soon night begins to descent, she becomes scares of warnings of wild animals and she wants to run quickly to town but that big stone is holding her down.

As she was in her journey, she sees a person in fields who seeing a little girl instantly hurls towards the stones. She instantly tries to protect the biggest stone by throwing the stone in her palm in the face of the person but to her surprise he takes that stone with him and runs away leaving the biggest stone untouched.

This surprises her and she thinks to herself maybe this weight she has been carrying was never worth it. Thus she in fear of wild-life attacking her leaves the big stone and carries on with the small stone. She reaches the town before any other attack safely, sells that stone for a big value and settles herself.

Turned out that the biggest stone was not a part of the valuables of what her dad left her with but instead it was a stone kept by him in his room for climbing the cabinet sometimes, the stone she threw was of gold, and the stone in her pocket was a diamond.

Had that person NOT stolen the golden stone, she’d have kept going with a normal stone and probably be attacked by wild animals in life. That person’s stealing of golden stone made her realize the actual value of diamond and that other big weight she was carrying for nothing.

This story is a constant reminder that sometime the worst people in our lives are the reason we start valuing those who are actually important to us.

SO next time you stumble on a toxic person, don’t regret for meeting such a person but admire yourself for learning a lesson from that person.

Thank you!
Hope you enjoyed the story.
